Coachella is arguably one of the hottest festivals of the year and many artists dream of getting the opportunity to perform there one day.

Whilst many artists made their Coachella debut on Friday (April 13), the one who stole the show was little Mason Ramsey, aka Walmart’s Yodel Kid.

11-year-old Mason shot to fame over the past few weeks after a video of him yodelling at Walmart went viral. Since then, the clip has racked up millions of views and has even been remixed by numerous DJs.

On Friday, Mason tweeted that he was on the way to Coachella and would be performing with Whethan. Earlier this month, the DJ tweeted about the yodeller after receiving messages to say that they look alike.

Stating that he needed “no introduction”, Whethan brought out Mason during his set which immediately sent the crowd into a frenzy. Check out a short clip below.

Whilst Mason was a huge hit with the entire crowd, one superstar name enjoyed his performance more than most. Justin Bieber was one of the thousands watching the yodelling kid and even went to meet him after he wrapped things up on stage. EDM.com captured the adorable meeting, with the ‘Sorry’ singer telling the young yodeller how proud he was of him before they posed for selfies.

Justin isn’t Mason’s only celebrity fan either. Earlier this week, Mason made an appearance on The Ellen Show where he had the chance to perform. During the show, host Ellen DeGeneres also gave him a few incredible surprises.

On Wednesday, Mason was given the opportunity to perform a concert at the Walmart store where he made his name. It was also revealed that Walmart were going to give him a $15,000 scholarship in order to go to college. On top of that, Mason will be fulfilling one of his dreams by performing at the Grand Ole Opry tonight (April 14).
